The latch on our dishwasher had been broken for a while, but the dishwasher still worked. Then recently, the control panel became unresponsive. I ordered a new latch assembly and replaced it, but the control panel still doesn't do anything. No lights, nothing. The dishwasher does have power, because I'm getting current to the switches on the latch assembly. Do I need to replace the panel (around $150), or should I try something else first?

How long between the events "latch breaking" and "panel not responding"? Guessing that the two are unrelated ... meaning that the panel needs to be replaced as well. Sorry.
