Hi,

I'm still trying to fix my dishwasher (GE Triton XL), see my earlier post.

Some new questions:
1. When I try to slowly rotate the motor with a screwdriver, is it supposed to turn freely? It only moves about half in inch back and forth.
2. Could it be that the sump is totally full?
3. Can someone tell me how to remove the lower arm without breaking it off?

Thanks,

Ed

Sounds like the pump got stuck. Pour a gallon of a regular white vinegar into the dishwasher and let it sit there for a day, then try to rotate the motor. If it would not help then the solution is to replace the pump and motor assembly.
