I have a Quiet Partner IV dishwasher that has been a nice workhorse for several years. Unfortunately this weekend while away something happened to it. My wife started it and during the cycle there was a water break and our water was turned off. She wasn't home at the time. I don't know if it was running at that time or not.

I have the flashing light problem. Right now the normal light is flashing and one element of the countdown number. I turned off the breaker over night hoping that would reset it but that didn't work. I've been unable to find the reset commands for this model.

I'd really appreciate troubleshooting hints. There are several options from simply needing reset, control panel to heating elements.

Any help will be appreciated.

Sounds like there are two problems: bad display and flashing normal light.

You may want to replace the display board and the control panel. If you need the correct part number for the control panel, post the color of it.

- The display board Part number: 8269206

Well......I took the control board loose and reseated some wires. It has worked once. I'll try it again after my daughter gets her shower.

It did count down slower than I would have anticipated. Is the countdown relative to minutes or is it simply a numeric countdown?

Thanks,

Mike

Somehow, but also it depends on soil sensing.

Gene.
