Dishwasher Repair

Hello,

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher won't turn on at all. No lights, nothing; the unit is completely unresponsive. The disposal that is plugged into the same outlet works fine. Any help/troubleshooting anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Model KUDI02FRSS1.

Could be that the thermal fuse (Item 6 in Section 1) is blown.
Remove it and check it with a meter, it should be 0 ohms.
If it is blown be sure to use the new wiring harness that comes with the replacement.

Next would be to check it the door latch switches are closing when the door is latched.

Another fairly common problem is with the wire nuts that attach the unit to power.

Are there any steps/links on how to remove/test these parts? Thanks again for your help. I'm a pretty basic user when it comes to appliance troubleshooting.
