worth it or not
Model Number: MDB7609AWSO Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
My three year old Maytag has stopped working. Nothing happens at all when you press start or cance buttons. I've powered down and up hoping to reset but no dice. Several people have suggested control board issues costing 250 and up. Is it worth fixing or some other suggestions?

Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Maytag MDB7609AWS0 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com Could be the fuse is blown (Item 6 in Section 2). Remove power from the unit and the fuse and then check it with a meter. If it is blown be sure that you use the new harness that comes with the replacement fuse. The control board is 150 from AppliancePartsPros but you would have to do more troubleshooting as the control panel (keypad) also can cause problems.
