I replaced the drain pump on my SHE4AM15UC/01 Bosch dishwasher because it would not drain. The drain pump motor would run for a second or two, then stop. It would do this two or three times, and then switch to "clean" status on the control panel. I could also hear the water gurgle in the drain hose.

I replaced the $30 drain motor, but it still does the same thing. Any ideas? It seems that if the sump will not drain, the dishwasher cancels its cycle. Any ideas why the motor cuts out, even a new one?
