Here are your parts
Replacement parts for Maytag MDBH949AWW1 UNDERCOUNTER DISHWASHER | AppliancePartsPros.com I am assuming that the main motor\pump does run when it is supposed to be washing. Have you checked the water level. If the level is low the wash arms will not spin as the pump is starving for water. Most units fill to just below the heating element. Also low fill often causes the pump/motor to growl as it is sucking in air. An easy way to check is to add a couple quarts of hot water just after a fill and see if the arms now spin. Just be careful to not overfill the unit.
