Fills & drains but does not wash or push the impellers
Model Number: GLDL560N10SS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
It Says GE Quiet Power 3 on the door.
The dishwasher Fills then sits, the soap tray opens then sits, drains for all cycles will heat for drying but No wash or impeller movement. Dishes never get wet, But water in the Base during fill and drains fine. Caught the smell of burning plastic and wire. Looked at a scheme but couldn't tell where the solenoid is or how to check it properly.  Please any help would be appreciated Ads By Google Related Models

Sounds like the main wash pump has gone bad. The correction is to replace the main pump & motor assembly.
