Hi,

Problem:
The dish racks (both upper and bottom) of my dishwasher have shown several rusted areas over the years due to the peeling off of the plastic cover and exposure of the metal rod.
Some rusted areas are about 1'' long and 1/4" wide.
I have concern for the rust-contamination to the dishes and health- hazzard after using the dish washer.

Question:
Will your vinyl touch up paint in your repair kit (part# AP3050547) do the job of covering up all those rusted areas and withstand the harsh conditions of dishwashing with steam/hotwater and detergent subsequently after it is dried. How long the protection of the paint can last in covering up the rusted areas?
