My Frigidaire (PLD4050RHC1) dishwasher seems to be dripping water from the water inlet. This piece is molded/plastic welded onto the dishwasher tub and isn't replaceable !

Has anyone had any experience with a defect of this type? I'm thinking that I will just have to do some corrective surgery on this piece myself since I'm not interested in replacing the entire dishwaher tub.

Any advice or comments would be appreciated!

The problem can be as simple as an excessive pressure in the water line. Try to adjust it by slowly turning CW the water shut off valve for the dishwasher.

Thanks Gene for your reply, but I don't think this is a water supply pressure problem. The unit still leaks even when the water inlet valve is closed (no flow condition) due to residual water in the supply tube. My inlet water valve must have a tiny leak and I'm replacing it too since I have things torn apart.

I will update this as I finish tests and make repairs.
