Model Number: GHDA670N00BB Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Hello Experts,
I have this 4 and half years old GE Adora Quite Power 3 dish washer. It doesn't move from washing to rinse or sanitize or dry but all the time it is stuck at Washing. In normal wash mode, this goes on for 90 minutes without moving to the next cycle. Any help in this regard is much appreciated as I cannot afford a new unit. Thanks Ads By Google Related Models |

Does the water inside the dishwater heat up during the wash cycle?
Check the heating element for continuity. The normal reading suppose to be 19.4 - 19.8 Ohms. Very likely you'll need to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet. - The heating element Part number: WD05X10010 Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric GHDA670N00BB Dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.com Gene.

Thank you very much the reply Gene. I have checked the temperature and it seems working fine. When I have opened the door, I could see the steam coming out and the heating element and the water is hot (close to the temp of the hot water coming from the sink hot tap). I have also opened the door back cover to reach the electronic module and all the connections are intact.

Locate the turbidity sensor (#321 at the diagram). Remove the wires from the sensor and measure the resistance across 1 & 4 terminals at the room temperature. Try it on all possible scales of your meter. Post the results.
If there is no continuity, this sensor is bad. In such situation it is a time for a new dishwasher because this part is no longer available. Gene.
