Dishwasher replacement shaft thing to go through blade/barrels/impeller/etc.
Model Number: fdb421rfr2 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
Hi There. My motor works fine as do all the other parts responsible for circulating the water - except the plastic shaft-axel-type-thing which connects on to the metal spinning shaft that exits the motor.
This plastic piece (which is about 2 or so inches long and goes through through the blade and impeller to make them spin) has snapped in half as I was trying to remove it to fix a small leak from one of the rings on the barrel. Anyway - I can't seem to find this part anywhere! Anyone able to help - I am reluctant to buy a whole new pump in the hope that this part comes with it - a new dishwasher might be more economical.
