Model Number: GSD4320Y72BB Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
Our GE dishwasher is leaking from what appears to be where the motor connects to the pump. Water runs from the bottom left where one of the nut/screws is located. There appears to be a vertical metal plate on the backside of the motor where it joins to the pump. Water runs from the bottom left of this connection even 11 hrs after the completion of the entire cycle and the machine has shut off. There is some hard water deposit and rust in other areas around this, but no moisture. Possibly they are from old seeping places. The machine was installed new 9 years ago this month.
Do we need a new motor/pump assembly or is it possible to stop the leak otherwise? The washer is working fine otherwise. Ads By Google Related Models |
