maytag dishwasher wont start
Model Number: mbd6600aww Brand: Maytag Age: 5 - 10 years
I have replaced control panel because the latch had broken!! The machine ran for 2 to 3 loads then quit!!! I replaced with another new conttrol panel and the same thing happened 2 to 3 loads then wont start!!! I can change cycles and the panel lights up, but go out after 30 sec or so. I have checked the switches for cont, and are ok. Is there some type of reset that should be used??? Thanks Ron

Hi.
Let's try the following: With the dishwasher in "Quit!!!" position unplug it for a few minutes, then plug it back in. If it will work for a couple of loads and the stops again, then most likely you need to replace the control board. The control board Part number: 99003160 Her are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Maytag MDB6600AWW DISHWASHER- UNDERCOUNTER | AppliancePartsPros.com Thank you. Post the results. Replace the control board. You can always return unused parts even if they been installed. Simon.
