Question How to remove overfill switch float
Model Number: KUDS24SEBL2   Brand: Kitchen Aid   Age: 5 - 10 years

Need to replace overfill microswitch, but the only way I can see to get to it is to remove the standpipe nut and drop the whole assembkly. Trouble is I can't seem to get the float out. Looks like it just would lift straight up, but I've already pulled harder on it than I should and no luck.
Would appreciate any suggeestions.
Thx
Dave
