So far this unit has had 5 fuses, a new thermister and over heat thermostat. Wiring at those sites is fine. The connections at the junction box in the unit are fine. Amp draw on the element is with the 12 amp limit. The electronic control was replaced because the back of the control at the harness at the soldier connection had definately been hot. The wires in the harness had also been hot but look acceptable. The unit seems to quit in the sani phase of the cycle. Is it ok to bypass the fuse, withthe customers permission?

Any thing else to check?

12 amps is way to much. Normally during the water heating cycle while the pump is running the total draw suppose to be no more than 9 amps (about 7 amps for the heating element and about 2 amps for the motor).

I would not recommend to bypass the fuse, but it's your dishwasher and risk is yours too.
