Model Number: 6651677993 Brand: Kenmore Age: More than 10 years
Bottom dish rack of this dishwasher shows evidence of heat damage to the separator spikes that hold the plates/bowls, etc. apart. The tips of these spikes has their plastic melted and blackened. It will cost in excess of $80 to replace, but I do not want a new rack heat damaged as well. What would cause this damage and how do I prevent it from happening again?
