Default dishwasher
Brand: Frigidaire   Age: Less than 1 year

How do you turn off the drying heat lock light? The light turns on after running the dishwasher sometimes. There is nothing in the instruction to tell me how it gets turned on and how to turn off. By pushing the cancel/stop twice this does nothing. As long as the lock light is on the dishwasher will not run.

Same thing happened yesterday with less than 1 month old Frigidaire dishwasher in my new home. Can't get heat dry light off & no other controls will work. No instructions or troubleshooting guide in owner manual. Only used two times.

if the unit is less than 1 year old, call Frigidaire customer service and they can determine if perhaps it might be a warranty issue.

Thank you, the store where it was purchased is sending someone out next Monday to check it. Will post the fix on here after they repair it!

Technician replaced 'control panel', so far so good! It was still under warranty, only 1 month old.
