dishwasher motor/pump make a whinning noise
Model Number: 66516533200 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
the dishwasher fills ok but when the motor starts it makes a bad whinning noise through out the cycle,is the motor going?is it worth replaceing or should i chuck it and get a new one?

Remove the pump cover and the inlet protector. Check for a foreign objects inside.
