I have a Kenmore dishwasher that would not start. The LEDs were flashing for several functions, i.e Normal, Cancel, Heated Dry, etc. I switched off the breaker and removed the control module and disconnected the ribbon connector persuant instructions. I reassembled the control panel, restored power, waited the prescribed time and closed the door. The drain motor ran for two minutes, indicating any problem would be in the switches, according to the manual. I cannot determine how to remove the membrane switch panel. It appears to be applied from the outside with hidden fasteners or adhesive.
I reassembled the door to original form with the ribbon reconnected and started the dishwasher. It appears to be functioning properly. I would like to know how to remove the switch panel in the event it needs replacing. I would also like to know if you have that part.
