The timer spring on my ge dishwasher has come loose. It was here when we bought the house. Not sure where the spring is suppose to connect to. Please help. Door won't stay closed.

It was attached to a post by the timer that has broken off. Put a zip tie around the screw post for the timer. Hook the spring onto the zip tie. Tighten the zip tie until the spring is about even with the broken post.
