The dishwasher working fine & goes through the whole cycle, at the end clean (green) light appears. but at heater element doesnot switch off, so it keeps heating. If i open the door & shut it, the heater continues to heat. I tried pressing Cancel/Drain button on the pannel, still it continues to heat. Only if I keep door open or pull out the plug the heating stops.

I opened the door cover, removed the Control Board, cleaned the contacts of all connectors with Contact Cleaner Spary & put it back. Now it does not heat. But, I am not sure, if I start the Cycle, at the end, it will shut the heater or not.. !?

Can any one help me to identify the problem?

If it is the Control Board, is there any way to identify the defective component on the board & replace? I have a multimeter which I can use to check, if you can giude me as to how to check. Also, I can buy the required part & solder it on the board.
