Dish Washer
Model Number: 665.17262400 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
How to change the Pump and Motor on my Kenmore Dishwasher. Could you kindly give me the Tech page for my particular model. I have already purchased the Pump & Motor from Appliance Parts Pro company, They are great to deal with.

You have a Whirlpool dishwasher, Kenmore name. Basically, you will need to pull the dishwasher out to replace the motor.
You will need to pull the upper pump housing and the half round pump cover and replace the chopper assy. p#8268383 and the check valve P#8268375 located in the pump housing next to the chopper.This will prevent chopper clogs. You can go to www.applianceaid.com for specifics. You can return any unused parts if you don't need them. The choppers on these tend to clog up, might be your only problem!!
