I have a Whirlpool DU931SCGB1 dishwasher and it won't start. When I push the "Normal" button, there is no noise and nothing indicating that the cycle is even attempting to start. The "Drain" button is the only button that does anything. It properly starts a draining cycle that works every time. If I dump a pot of water into the dishwasher, pushing the "Drain" button will drain it all out.

I believe the door is latched properly, otherwise I assume the drain function wouldn't work. Am I correct in assuming that?

This all started one day when I canceled a load in the middle of the load. It didn't want to start again after that. It has worked one more time since this issue started...i.e. One time I was able to push the "Normal" button to get it to start and it went through an entire cleaning cycle.

I've tried cutting power (via my house electrical breaker box) to the dishwasher for 30 minutes to try to reset it. That has not worked.
