Default dishwasher seal
Model Number: DWU9200AAX   Brand: Maytag   Age: More than 10 years

Dishwasher is leaking water. I ordered a new door seal (part #902894). I would like to know the correct way to install it. One edge of the seal has a wider lip. Thanks for your help.

Hi Danna,

Look very careful at the old one before remove it.

Find the middle of the new one and start the installation from the upper middle point of the tub.

If the new seal goes in hard, you can lubricate it with water.

The customer had already removed the seal from the dishwasher. I just wanted to make sure he replaces it correctly. Thanks anyway.
