I just replaced the circuit board on my DW. It was working intermittently after the installation. I check the float and it had some sticky residue stuck inside. I literally popped float and cleaned it. When I tried to put the float back, it would not stay in its holder. I found out about this palnut that holds the float in place. Now, the DW does not even start. I am suspecting the float in this problem. If I re-install the float with the palnut, do you think everything will be fixed? Plus, the motor on the DW was replaced just a year ago. Thanks!
