Model Number: SHU43C06 UC/17 Brand: Bosch Age: 5 - 10 years
**After removing the kick-plate and observing what was going on, I manipulated the float stem, and was able to drain and run a cycle**
The cycle hasn't finished yet..... but everything seems to be functioning correctly. Dishwasher will not drain or fill. Usual amount of water inside the dishwasher before the initial drain pre cycle. Makes noise but does nothing, will count down to about 87 minutes then nothing more. I have searched through the forums and read the troubleshooting guide. The Guide says to press Regular wash and Power Scrub, this does nothing for me. I pressed Regular Wash and Rinse and Hold then Power and I got the two lights to blink. While the RW and R&H lights were blinking I did the following steps: Pressed Power Scrub button: The Power Scrub Light Illuminates while the RW and R&H still blink. No display Pressed Regular Wash button: RW light solid, R&H blinks No display Pressed Quick Wash button: QW light solid, RW and R&H blinks displays 188 Rinse agent and sanitized lights are solid Pressed Rinse and Hold: R&H light solid, RW blinks displays 01 I work midnights, and when I woke up this evening my wife informed me that the dishwasher doesn't work. When I get home tomorrow morning I will remove the kick plate and look for water tripping the safety switch as well as the float and examine the drain hoses. The last issue I had with this dishwasher was an awful noise during the drain cycle which turned out to be a piece of walnut shell against the drain impeller. Easy fix. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated. Regards, Bill Ads By Google Related Models Last edited by bogomips : 02-21-2012 at 08:19 AM. Reason: solved |
