Bosch discharge impeller needs a "nudge"
Bosch dishwasher is not discharging waste water. Checked the impeller and it is not obstructed and would turn with slight resistance.
I ran the drain cycle while observing the impeller. Noticed a low buzzing sound. Slightly nudging the impeller got it to start spinning. Pushed the cover back in place and the waste water was pumped out so I know the discharge tube is not blocked. Impeller would stop and after a few seconds the buzzing would return, nudging the impeller would get it to turn again. This would happen 2-3 times and then the cycle would seem to be over.
Does this sound like a discharge motor assembly problem?
Is the float switch that monitors water level part of the motor assembly? It could be that but I would think not with the nudge getting the impeller to go.
Same for control board, I'm not sure why a nudge would get the motor assembly to go.
