Model Number: DU943PWKQO Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
Over several weeks the control panel lights and operation of the dishwasher became increasingly erratic. Finally the machine would not operate except sometimes the cancel function would work.
Got it working, for one operation at least, by removing the control board and unplugging all the connectors. Used this time to clean the door switch of crud and the inner liner of accumulation of old detergent. Put everything back together and the machine operated normally. If it continues to operate normally, the fix would probably been contamination of the connectors that were cleaned by the removal and replacing of them. Be sure to remove power at the load center before attempting this. If you only want to clean the liner, it comes off with the removal of 8 torx screws. Power is not affected in this case.
