Kitchenaid Dishwasher leaking from air inlet
Model Number: KUDM25SHBL1 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
The dishwasher is leaking from the air intake assembly on the left side of the tub. This part, 675828, has been discontinued. I've read that it might be repaired by using silicone around the rim both inside and outside the dishwasher. How successful might this repair be? I understand that I will have to totally disconnect the dishwasher and remove it to do the repair. If it's not worth the effort, I'll buy a new dishwasher but it works fine except for this leak.
