Can the air gap be capped off? If so How? I replaced kitchen faucet and the hose from the dishwasher now leaks. My sink does not have space for a air gap and a spray nosel. Can the hose be removed from the body of the dishwasher completly with out leaking water? I now have water in the cabinet under the sink because of the hose. I hope you can help me, Kay

Kay,

Have you replaced the garbage disposer at the same time?

What is the complete model number of the dishwasher?

Gene.
