I was cleaning out my sink drain with acid and it backed up into the dishwasher. Is it possible that the acid damaged my impeller? The dishwasher runs through it's cycles normally, but it doesn't clean the dishes as thoroughly as it used to. It seems like maybe the water pressure has decreased. Is it too hard to replace the impeller by myself?
