Model Number: MVWC6ESWW1 Brand: Maytag Age: 1 - 5 years
The washer (Commercial Technology) is a little over 2 years old. It has begun making a grinding noise in all the cycles but delicate. It is a Maytag, so I didn't buy extended warranty (Got a good deal, so should have, I guess.) I am trying to get the back off so as to look at the transmission. It is loose all the way up to the slots/tabs where it is is attached to the back of the conrtol module. It won't go higher to lift the slots out over the tabs. I assume I am going to have to put a new transmission/gear case in it. So how does the back come off?
