Control Panel:
The buttons Rise Only, Normal, Pots-N-Pans & Air Dry don't work. All others seem to be okay. Is the control panel #AP3136031 shot?

No doubts the problem with your dishwasher is a bad control panel. If the color of your dishwasher is black then the control panel with the part number AP3136031 is the right one. I ordered and received the part yesterday. I replaced the unit without any problems.
We are back in business.
What is the next most likely failure? Is it time to think about a new dishwasher?

It's kind of impossible to predict what the next failure is going to be. You do have a pretty good dishwasher. I wouldn't worry about it unless you "want" a new dishwasher. Don't wash wine glasses in it and clean the dishwasher once a month with dishwasher magic (or vinegar).
