dishwasher does not fill
Model Number: kuda220twh4 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: More than 10 years
My Dishwasher does not fill. The valve does turn on and some water is gettinginto the tub but it does not fill fast enough before the cycle fill cuts off...So it must either be a valve that does not open all the way or dirt in the valve. Any ideas before I try to replace the valve? The float is not an issue here...the valve is turning on when it needs to but not enough water gets filled....

Count the seconds it fills by listening. If it fills for more than 40 seconds, you probably have a clogged microscreen in the valve, these are impossible to clean. Order a new one at this site, part # Ap2919519
