Main washer pump stopped working so replaced it - seal had been leaking and it rusted then siezed up. After pump replaced Dishwasher ran perfectly for a few days then 'died' = no LEDs, no response to key pad buttons.

Door latch switch is fine, thermal fuse is fine, power available at control board (P7-P8 and P7 to P2-6). Checked keypad too, according to keyswitch resistance check table as all ok so problem seems to be the control board (part #8534866 replaced by #8564542) but interested in a pro's diagnosis please...before ordering another costly part e.g. any reason why a new pump could lead to control panel dying or is it a coincidence?

thanks for any guidance..
best..
Jeff
