Dishwasher was noisy, then quieted, then stopped working. It goes on, but has that ongoing fast tick-tick-tick as if it's on Delayed, occasionally clicks, then hums as if it's going to go on but goes back to that tick-tick. There's standing water in the bottom. It stops ticking sometimes. After following a tip and pouring in baking soda and vinegar, then hot water, it sounded as if it was going to go on, kind of a groan (it's made that sound for the last 11 years) that it makes right before we hear water going into the machine. Then silence. Then a quiet "tick." Then silence. Then sounding like it's going to go on. Then silence. Then a loud tick.

It's just past water miser, but sounds like it's on Delayed.

Lots of symptoms LOL. Any diagnoses? Can I fix it myself? (And if not, any recommendations for dishwashers under $600.)
