At the end of 2008, the dishwasher stopped working and a Sears technician diagnosed it as the control panel. I ordered that part and the fuse from Sears, replaced them both and the dishwasher has worked fine until a few days ago. This time none of the buttons on the panel will light except the three option buttons. It is hard to believe the control panel has gone bad again. The technician who came the first time said in such cases, he replaces the panel and the computer as he called it. I remember that part when I replaced the control panel. Before I spend in excess of $80 for that part, I would like to know that it is a possibility.
