Model Number: SHU43C05UC/14 Brand: Bosch Age: 5 - 10 years
I have Bosch SHU43C05UC/14 dishwasher. Has worked very well until recently. Now it does not wash very well. I set the door latch to power the washer while the door is open. Water fills up to cover the drain filter area. A Water pump pressurizes, but very low. Only about 2 inches comes out of the lower rotatable arm. No pressure for the above arm. I removed the debris trap and found alot of stuff. Cellophane wrapper, and others that should never have been here! I cleaned all and restarted. Same thing. Low pressure. I removed the trap and probed the pump inlet. I found a small piece of round plastic in same. After removing the items found, one can move the pump impeller with a small finger. It has that no resistance feel.
Not sure if the impeller has broken away from the motor shaft and or the water inlet valve is faulty as well. Front panel diagnostic mode shows version 21. Test runs produces no error codes at the end, only 0. It allways displays a 0 through out testing as well. On normal runs, once in a blue moon I saw the F code on the front display, after the dishes were done. It is a good indicator of our present situation. Any advice would be appreciated.
