Kenmore doesn't clean-"Clean " Flashning Seven times
I have a Kenmore dishwasher that appears to go through its cleaning cycle however there is soap residue left in dispenser and dishes are not clean. "Clean" light flashes 7 times--does that refer to a trouble code?
Thanks-Merry Christmas !! |
The "Clean" light, flashing 7 times means a problem in the heating circuit.
Reset the control as described in the tech's sheets (located in a pouch behind the bottom panel). If it'll happen again, check the heating element and the high limit thermostat. The model number you posted is incomplete. Happy Holidays! Gene. |
Your hot water may be too cold, just increase temperature.
Open door, within 3 seconds hit high temp. scrub, energy saver dry, then repeat (if no such buttons press similar ones} Close door and press cancel. Good luck,Merry Christmas. |
I have the same problem with my Kenmore. How do you reset the dishwasher as stated in the early post. There's nothing in my tech sheet.
Thanks. |
Just follow the directions for Demark above

I was able to reset the flashing green light. There was no error code shown afterwards. Then I ran the normal wash cycle. Took a few minutes
to start. On the screen started at 55, went down to 48 (?) then dropped to 2. Finished out the cycle. Afterwards the flashing green light. I could do the sequence all over again. Neal |
Check your service sheet. The dishwasher is sensing a bad heater. Check the heater and heater thermostat.
