Water would not spray out of the upper arms and spin. :(
Soap residue would remain in the cup after the cycle was completed.

I found the chopper assembly was "clogged" and I would clear it. :p Pressure would be great again (Like New) but in time I would need to repeat the process.

How can I tell if the chopper is broken? Should the metal blades spin separately from the metal cap?

Thank you, Alan :)

 A new problem started where the water would not drain in between or at the end of cycles. I would need to press "cancel/drain" several times to clear the water. I thought there may have been a clog in the drain-pump but I did not find one. The pump does seem to "spin" (viewed directly)but It doe not seem to clear the water. Does the drain pump commonly go bad? Is there another valve I should be checking? Could the sensor at the bottom of the basin be the problem?

What is the water level inside the dishwasher? Normally it suppose to be no lower than the notch on the right side of the float cup cover.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for GE GHDA475M15CS | AppliancePartsPros.com

Ok last night I turned on dishwasher while it was open to see what was happening. It was obvious that there was not enough water pressure. Possibly a bad pump?
Thanks Lisa

Hi Lisa,

Most likely a bad water inlet valve (#744 on the diagram)

You are welcome Lisa,

You will see it as soon you'll remove the toe panel. Do not forget to turn off the dishwasher water shut off valve under the sink.
