Default ge-leaking at float stem?
Model Number: gsc3200g00ww   Brand: GE   Age: 5 - 10 years

my dishwasher started leaking underneath the dishwasher and it was comming from under the float stem and float switch. I took the screw out for the float switch and the float stem came out and nothing eles, so i though i need to replace the stem and did and still it leaks. There is a gap between the float switch and float stem and where the float stem goes into the dishwasher is where its leaking. There seems to be a spring or missing washer missing to fill in the gap. I looked at the sears website at the diagram and it to just shows the float stem and float switch and nothing between them. The dishwasher has been working fine until the last two days and cant figure it out any suggestions?
