Hi Wondering if anyone can help me with some advice. I have a kitchen aid dishwasher. It is the one where the controls are all at the top so you don't see them when the door is closed.
About a year or so ago the start button on top wore off. Meaning the plastic decal type button wore away so when you start you are actually pushing the little plastic button under the decal.
Lately the start button is not working sometimes and other times it does not work and I can't start the washer. After taking it apart I realized I probably need part # AP3085303. This part is the button assembly (user interface). My guess is what happened is without the plastic decal on top of the button, the start button is getting worn out. No big deal the part costs $71.25.
My question is I can't seem to find the replacement decal that goes over the start button and everything else.
I am hoping I do not need to purchase a panel control AP3177981. Please help.
