high pitched noise
 

Our undercounter dishwasher has begun to make a high pitched sound
when washing and rinsing. This sound has become increasingly loud.
Suggestions?

You may have something stuck in the chopper assembly making that noise, or your motor may actually be damaged. Check out this video showing how to get to the chopper assembly. If it checks out ok, you will need to replace the pump assembly.
