Our dishwasher is leaking from the front bottom of the door. Thought it was the seal because when looking at it from the inside it was missing in the center. When I found the part online the image showed that that middle section isn't supposed to be there anyway. Any other suggestions of what it might be? Should I buy the piece anyway to see if it might be that?

Typically when a leak occurs in a dishwasher it is because of poor installation or debris clogging the unit. If you have a garbage disposal hooked into the lines in the kitchen, you may want to run it and make sure it is not clogged. Check the dishwasher unit for any materials or debris in the filter trap at the bottom, also listen for any sounds coming from the unit. Does it leak all the time, or just on certain cycles? Also look at the sprayer arms on top of the unit's tub, do you notice them being loose at all or coming apart? If so, they can tend to spray all the way downward and point towards the door causing a leak.
