Model Number: FDB1500LFC0 Brand: Frigidaire Age: 1 - 5 years
My dishwasher will not drain - I have checked the lines and no blocks or pinches - I have check the power running to the pump and it is active- I have also removed the pump and nothing blonking it - I can hear it cut on but will not suck water through - I would like to know if there is a way to check if the pump is working - before i purchase the new pump - I belive this to be the issue but - this is my first time lookin internaly at a dishwasher please inform me of a way to check the pump before i purchase another one. thanks so much for the help

Replacement parts for FRG FDB1500LFC0 | AppliancePartsPros.com Here is the tech sheet http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodin...54595301en.pdf Sounds like you have already checked it. If the lines are clear and the check valve OK and the pump gets power but does not pump then the pump is shot. You could remove the pump from the unit, attach a line cord to it and give it a try. Also you may be able to tell if the pump impeller is jammed.
