I was given a Jenn-Air Quiet series DW731W dishwasher that was being replaced because of a Kitchen upgrade.. its replacing our GE hunk of Junk that was installed when we had our house built. (Jenn-Air unit was functioning perfectly when it was removed) However the unit did not function correctly for me when I put it in, after some poking around I noticed that it was missing the Spring Return for the Solenoid pull. Once I got that on (look at image and tell me if the spring is in the correct spot) the dishwasher ran through its cycles correctly.. However there was a slow leak, I could not tell where it was coming from so I put some Food Coloring in the water and found the leak quickly after that (see image).. What do I need to do to fix this leak, any ideas would be appreciated. I am currently laid off and would like to do this myself if possible. Thanks, Alex oogravyoo attached the following image(s):

Alex, Given that your post is more than a year old, this won't help you, but may be useful for someone else. I had my Jenn Air DW760B apart to replace the flapper and figured I'd take a picture of the spring position for the forum. I assume you already figured out that the location you had it in was incorrect; you can barely make out the spring in the parts diagram, but it does show the right placement for it. The photo below should give you a good idea of how the spring is mounted. Jerry paddiwack attached the following image(s):
