Model Number: MDB7601Awb Brand: Maytag Age: Less than 1 year
The center light has remained on for about 2 days.
With just two of us we do not wash dishes every day. Last night I tried to start the dishwasher - I could not select a cycle. The LED readout has an " L " I bought this at a furniture store going out of the appliance business and did not get a handbook. I think this is a "door lock" error. Is this something we can fix on our own - or has does the panel need to be replaced! ..... ........so much for the lonely Maytag Repairman? |

Found my own answer!!!
I seached the Internet for the repair manual. (I am printing it as I type). Somehow we "locked" the control panel. By holding down the Heated Dry button for 3 seconds - we "unlocked" it. We now see that button does have a 3 by it. WHEW..............The Maytag repairman will stay "lonely" ![]() |
