Whirlpool Dishwasher
Model Number: Unknown Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
We bought a Whirlpool dishwasher that was bought about 30 months ago that had not been hooked up or ever used. We just hooked it up and get water to the dishwasher but not in the dishwasher. What should we be looking for to get it working??

A Model Number may help others help you.
Remove the kick plate and check the float switch, it should be activated. Could be the float is stuck in the up position so the uit thinks it is full of water. Next check to see if the water valve is getting power when it should (120 volts). If it is getting power and is not opening it needs replacing.
