Dishwasher will not run except when pushing cancel/drain. It then runs, but does not drain. Pushing any other cycle button, the lights light, but nothing happens. It filled with water when the cancel/drain was pressed

Remove the bottom access panel and check if the motor runs while the control calls for wash or drain.

Post the results.
